  • UmbImport in action

With UmbImport you can import content or members from various datasources into Umbraco. In the first part of the session I will show you how to do that and I will also show you how to write a custom data adapter that you can use for a datasource that is not supported by default in UmbImport. In the second part of the Session I will show you the extra functionality that you get with the UmbImport pro version.

  • Umbraco Support Agreements

One of the biggest challenges in selling Umbraco-based solutions to large enterprises is how it will be supported versus packaged product competitors who offer more substantial and defined SLA's and maintenence/support agreements. This is a challenge and opportunity for companies that have made Umbraco a tool of choice for their customer solutions. Would like to figure out how we as a community can address this both domestically and internationally. I can present some examples on how we are approaching this but looking for it to be a collaborative and open forum session.

  • Sharing Reusable Templates

For non-designers like me one of the biggest hurdles when setting up a new site is the design template. Other more established CMS's have vast armies developing free & paid for design templates. Can we turn my freeumbracotemplates concept from a poorly maintained one-man-band into a dynamic community project. Is anyone interested in using the resource? Is anyone interested in contributing to the resource? What needs to be done? When can we do it?
